Job summary

SimonCRE in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Tenant Coordinator to act as the primary liaison between Construction, Leasing, Property Management, and Development, guiding tenants from pre-lease signing through store opening.

You will monitor tenant construction progress, review plans, coordinate permits and COIs, and ensure lease requirements are met to support a timely, successful launch.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial retail properties and leasing processes.
• Experience with site plans, drawings, codes, and contracts.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects; general contracting a plus.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for clear information exchange.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets/Docs, Microsoft Word and Excel; Yardi preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tenants from pre-lease through store opening, ensuring timely communications.
• Track construction progress, review plans, and ensure lease compliance.
• Oversee permit approvals, signage, and COI collection with the Property Manager.
• Manage NOD letters, TIAs, COs, and schedule alignment with the Construction team.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress until CO or occupancy.
