City of Lee’s Summit is seeking a Permit Technician to review building plans, plot plans and permit applications under the Codes Administration Manager. The role involves technical work with familiarity of CityView and GIS maps, ensuring codes compliance and efficient customer service.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and ICC Permit Technician certification within 12 months.

Under the general supervision of the Codes Administration Manager and guidance of the Development Engineering Manager, performs a variety of routine and technical work in the review of building plans, plot plans and permit applications.
$21.73 per hour
