Job summary

Super-Sod, headquartered in Charleston, SC, seeks a Development Team Manager to lead the software development group. You will own planning, prioritization, scheduling, and delivery of all development projects, and you will guide and grow the developers.

Reporting to the CTO, this role focuses on leadership and delivery, with ERP knowledge and cross‑department collaboration to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• ,5+ years of project management and/or team leadership with on-time delivery.
• Strong planning, prioritizing, scheduling and delivery skills.
• Proven people leadership experience in technical teams.
• Solid understanding of business processes and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication between business and technical stakeholders.
• Security best practices knowledge and IT collaboration.
• Leadership focus over daily coding.
• Must be 19+ years old.
• Background check, MVR and drug screening required.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Own planning, prioritization, scheduling, and delivery of all development projects.
• Manage timelines, scope, and resources; keep every project on track and stakeholders informed.
• Maintain and groom the development backlog, balancing new initiatives against maintenance.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements the development team can act on.
• Lead, support, and develop the development team; set expectations and coach members.
• Coordinate with CTO, executives and departments to align priorities and progress.
• Partner with IT Security to ensure code and systems are secure and scalable.
• Ensure development work meets security, quality, and long-term maintainability standards.
