Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a IT-related degree, a solid understanding of Agile SDLC, and strong customer service abilities, with experience in Windows environments and financial systems.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring a smooth and effective operation of applications
• Application and database testing and QA
• Maintaining and updating technical documents, processes, and procedures
• Providing technical support by troubleshooting and resolving application issues, monitoring scheduled jobs, and by supporting end users
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to departmental initiatives
• Resolving system problems during non-business hours or backlogs by providing off-hours support as needed
• Assisting with application integrations
• Automating manual processes when feasible
• Providing cross training to other team members within the department and credit union
• Keeping abreast of any updates, enhancements, or new features

Qualifications: Required Skills

• Ability to quickly learn and master department specific applications
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
• Demonstrated logical and analytical thinking

• Understanding of Agile SDLC

• Working knowledge of PCs, MS Windows application software packages, Microsoft network, and financial institution experience

Preferred Skills/Knowledge

• Knowledge and experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft Power Automate
• Basic knowledge of programming concepts like control flow, functions, and Object-Oriented Programming
• Knowledge of the credit union's banking systems, including but not limited to DNA, CCM, and Q2, is a plus
