Job summary

The Credit Union is seeking a skilled QA/Testing Analyst to support application development and testing across member and staff-facing solutions. You will design, execute, and refine test plans, ensuring security and quality align with business goals and schedules.

Leveraging Agile methodologies, you will collaborate with IT teams to deliver reliable, secure software and provide guidance on testing best practices. In-office role requiring strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification/work experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience with application development teams and testing.
  • Experience with various testing types (integration, functional, smoke, regression, performance, security).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in design, development, implementation, and execution of testing plans.
  • Gather and analyze user requirements to define application testing objectives.
  • Evaluate testing system features and make recommendations to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Support development tools and environments related to testing responsibilities.
  • Participate in Agile project planning and management.
  • Update team processes and procedures.
  • Assist members and staff with application development matters.
  • Provide backup support to IT Help Desk as required.
  • Increase knowledge of industry standards and new technologies.

Job description

Job Summary

To function as a team member to assist members, staff, and third parties with general aspects of application development and application support for the Credit Union. Assist credit union members and other branches/departments with application development through effectively and thoroughly testing the developed solutions and ensure that the project meets the intended business goal and is delivered on schedule. Design and execute test plans, scripts, and procedures to ensure that application solutions meet all defined quality and security standards. Utilizing agile development methodology, deliver reliable, secure, high‑quality solutions in a timely and professional manner. Assist other IT teams as needed to support applications both member and staff facing.

Salary: $65K-$92K Annually DOE. Location: 971 W Wetmore Rd (This is an in office position.)

Daily Responsibilities
  • Participate in the design, develop, implement, and execute testing plans.
  • Participate in the gathering and analysis of user requirements to define application objectives as it relates to application testing responsibilities.
  • Participate with evaluation of application testing system features and functionality and make recommendations meant to improve efficiency and user experiences.
  • Participate in support of development tools and environments as relates to testing responsibilities.
  • Participate in project planning and management using Agile methodologies.
  • Participate in updating team processes and procedures.
  • Assist members and staff with application development related matters.
  • Assist the IT department, primarily IT Help Desk, as required.
  • Provide backup support to other team members within the department.
  • Increase knowledge of industry standards, best practices, trends, and new technologies.
Preferred Skills

Minimum one year of experience working with application development teams to design, develop, implement, and execute testing plans, including:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or related major; or equivalent certification or work experience.
