Job summary

Confluence Builders, a focused real estate developer-builder, is seeking a driven Project Engineer to support construction teams across all phases—from document control to field support and turnover. You will coordinate RFIs, submittals, schedules, and subcontractors to keep projects on track and aligned with design intent.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in CM/CE/architecture or related field, 1–3 years of construction experience (multifamily or commercial preferred), strong communication,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction, ideally multifamily, mixed-use, or commercial.
• Proficiency with construction software (Procore preferred), Bluebeam, MS Office, and scheduling tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field personnel, owners teams, consultants, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, product data, and material approvals.
• Coordinate between design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Track milestones related to inspections, utilities, MEP rough-in, finishes, and sequencing.
• Assist in preparing bid packages, scopes of work, and subcontractor comparisons.
• Support field observations, QA/QC, and turnover processes.
