Job summary

Harwood International is seeking an experienced and highly organized Assistant Project Manager to support the development and execution of commercial real estate projects from pre-development through closeout.

The role requires coordinating schedules, budgets, consultants, contractors, and design teams, with strong attention to detail and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Real Estate/Architecture/Engineering or related field.
• Experience in commercial real estate development, construction, architecture, engineering, or project management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Team coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with planning, coordination, and execution of commercial development projects.
• Support projects from planning and due diligence through design, permitting, construction, turnover, and closeout.
• Maintain project schedules and track milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, attorneys, vendors, and municipalities.
• Prepare for and participate in project meetings and coordination meetings.
• Maintain meeting notes, action-item logs, and project correspondence.
• Monitor outstanding items and escalate concerns to the Project Manager.
• Track design deliverables and review submissions for completeness.
