Job summary

The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA), the private fundraising and alumni relations organization for the University of Wisconsin–Madison, seeks a Development Program Specialist to support the Wisconsin Medicine team. The role reports to the Development Operations Group Leader and works with the Wisconsin Medicine program manager to support stewardship and donor engagement.

Key collaborations include the Department of Surgery, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, and university partners.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant work/internship experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Some experience with Canva for creating visual content is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgements and impact reporting.
• Coordinate donor engagement and stewardship programs with Wisconsin Medicine and WFAA events team.
• Prepare materials for donor visits and assist with on-site logistics and follow-up.
