Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, planning, or related field.
• Six+ years in public administration, planning, development and enforcement of regulations; four+ years supervisory experience.
• Valid non-commercial Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing development review programs and activities.
• Participate in establishing department goals, objectives, and priorities.
• Contribute to departmental organizational structure development at managerial, technical, and clerical levels.
• Direct ongoing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Review and approve Development Division expenditures ensuring budgetary compliance.
• Supervise staff within the Development Division.
• Represent the department at community meetings, council hearings, and other engagements.
• Implement policies, attend staff meetings on administration and finances.
• Contribute to County strategic plans, priorities, and initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain necessary records and reports.
• Perform related work as required.
