Job summary

The Seattle Symphony is seeking a Development Operations Coordinator to support the Development team with donor inquiries, VIP ticketing, donations processing and acknowledgments. You’ll manage donor benefits and liaise with volunteers, aiming to connect communities with our mission through philanthropy.

Today’s role requires strong customer service, data hygiene in Tessitura, and the ability to work across campaigns and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a high-volume, fast-paced role; nonprofit experience preferred.
• Previous donor or customer facing roles providing exceptional service via phone and email.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill Donor Relations needs and respond to donor inquiries with exceptional service.
• Support VIP Ticketing, fulfill ticketing requests and subscription renewals for major donors.
• Update donor data in Tessitura, perform data hygiene and merge records.
• Process contributions within one business day and send acknowledgement letters.
• Support daily documentation and reporting to reconcile Finance and Development systems.
• Assist with monthly giving programs and manage donor records in Tessitura and Stripe.
• Support Seattle Symphony Volunteer program with scheduling and onboarding.
