Job summary

Health Care For All is seeking a Development Coordinator to support HCFA’s fundraising operations, donor engagement, and reporting. The role collaborates with the Director of Development to maintain donor records, process gifts, acknowledge gifts, and support stewardship across HCFA.

The position emphasizes data accuracy, process improvement, and cross-team coordination. This hybrid role reports to the Director of Development, interacts with Finance, and may require meetings or events outside

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in development, fundraising operations, nonprofit administration, database management, or related field.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with ability to manage deadlines and details.
• Experience with donor databases/CRM systems; Salesforce is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to prepare reports and tracking docs.

Responsibilities

• Process and record charitable gifts, pledges, grants, and other contributions accurately.
• Prepare and send gift acknowledgments, tax receipts, and donor correspondence.
• Maintain donor and gift records in HCFA’s donor database (Salesforce).
• Track donor stewardship activities, pledges, acknowledgments, and follow-ups.
• Support gift reconciliation with Finance team.
• Assist with maintaining development calendars, templates, and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve development operations.
