Job summary

The Albany Institute of History & Art (AIHA) seeks a development professional to join a vibrant team, ensuring one of the oldest museums in the United States continues to thrive and serve as a regional heritage repository.

The Development Associate assists the Director of Development with individual giving, corporate philanthropy, and membership coordination, reporting directly to the Director of Development. Full-time, onsite, with occasional off-hours events.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in development or fundraising, or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with donor databases and CRM preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual giving and membership activities.
• Support donor relations and stewardship efforts.
• Assist with events and donor communications.
• Prepare fundraising reports and maintain records.
• Collaborate with DOD and colleagues across departments.
