Carnegie Museum of Art seeks an Associate Director of Development to lead donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. You will build and manage donor relationships, guide museum staff on funding strategies, and coordinate high-impact exhibitions and programs with the Senior Director of Development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred for advancement.
  • Minimum five years in development administration and fundraising.
  • Museum and/or higher education background desirable.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, Tessitura) highly preferred.
  • Prior event and engagement planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans to meet annual goals.
  • Provide guidance to staff on securing funding for programs and initiatives.
  • Manage donor events and cultivation activities to serve donor base timely.
  • Direct research on prospects and cultivate relationships with leadership.
  • Create solicitation strategies, prepare briefing materials and coordinate follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with Institute Development team to maintain donor/prospect records and reporting.
