Job Title: Development Manufacturing Machinist - 3rd Shift

Reporting To: Leader, Performance

Work Schedule: Onsite - Buffalo, NY

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English, and perform basic arithmetic.
• At least 5 years of experience as a diversified machinist.

Responsibilities:

• Create, rework, and repair tooling and fixturing, as well as development, prototype, R&D, and production hardware in the form of parts or components.
• Inspect work using complex techniques, detect defects, and interpret blueprints and operation sheets.
• Use CMM equipment to inspect parts.
• Work with defined instructions, making technical decisions regarding fixturing, tooling, setup, and inspection methods.
• Assist in process improvement and project teams occasionally.
• Support production by collaborating with engineering and managers as needed.
• Collect data for studies and analysis when required.
• Interpret complex drawings, sketches, EPs, and operation sheets.
• Perform difficult setups.
• Set up and operate CNC and manual/conventional equipment, including editing and creating simple CNC programs.
• Operate multiple machine types, with specialization in one area preferred.
• Navigate web-based applications, Moog Business Systems, and databases effectively.
• Program using Unigraphics and/or Part Maker.

Salary Range:

Buffalo, NY: $32.00 - $40.00 hourly
