Job summary

Electric Hydrogen is seeking a Manager, Development to advance large-scale low-carbon hydrogen and e-Fuel projects from conception through Final Investment Decision (FID). This hybrid role is based in Houston and reports to the Director, Development.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, and support customer engagements and commercial diligence. A hands-on background in industrial energy projects is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of project development experience in energy, natural gas, or decarbonization sectors.
• Experience supporting or leading the development of hydrogen, carbon capture, and related infrastructure.
• Understanding of permitting, site selection, and utility coordination in large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with carbon intensity and emissions accounting frameworks is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day development activities for green/blue hydrogen and e‑Fuel projects from early-stage to FID.
• Manage schedules, milestones, budgets, and development workplans to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate site control, permitting, environmental studies, utility engagement, gas supply evaluation, and CO2 logistics.
• Support evaluation of technical and commercial pathways for hydrogen production and emissions management.
• Support customer engagement, proposal development, and due diligence packages.
• Manage external consultants, engineering firms, permitting specialists, and other providers.
• Develop and maintain development budgets, risk registers, and investment materials.
• Prepare development updates and investment committee materials for internal stakeholders.
