Job summary

Qualifications

• Fundraising knowledge required; annual giving experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficient in CRM/database software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proven grant writing experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and written communication skills.
• Proactive approach to work with ownership of tasks.
• Well-organized with attention to detail and adaptability.
• Professional maturity, sound judgment and integrity.
• Personal commitment and passion for arts and culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive annual development plan.
• Respond to donor inquiries via phone, email, mail, and in person.
• Grow the annual fund through direct mail, email and events.
• Design and create donor appeals and impact reports.
• Research prospects to identify new funding sources.
• Monitor performance measures and evaluate the philanthropy program.
• Process gifts timely and issue donor acknowledgments and tax receipts.
• Administer the grant program, including coordinating and writing grants and reports.
• Plan cultivation and stewardship events.
• Maintain a donor/prospect database with accurate giving history and contact information.
• Stay up-to-date on fundraising trends and participate in professional development.
• Other duties as assigned.
