Job summary

The Family Place is seeking a Development Associate to support fundraising and community engagement efforts. In this role, you'll manage event logistics and help maintain connections with donors, ensuring successful fundraising initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in nonprofit work and previous experience in events or customer service. This position offers valuable hands-on experience within a mission-driven organization headquartered in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional experience preferred, including internships.
• Strong interest in nonprofit fundraising and event management.
• Comfortable working occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of fundraising events.
• Support donor stewardship through communication and acknowledgments.
• Provide administrative support to the Development team.
