Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Inc. is seeking a Special Events Associate to provide administrative and event planning support for fundraising events across the Development department.

You will help with registration, donor communications, volunteer coordination, and post-event follow up to advance fundraising goals. The role involves maintaining donor and host committee recognition, managing event data in Raiser's Edge and related platforms, and creating event materials for presentations

Qualifications

• Experience in development, fundraising, or event planning.
• Experience with donor communications and guest/stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and program support to the Director of Special Events and Donor Experience and the events team.
• Assists in the preparation and production of fundraising events affiliate-wide.
• Oversees and supports event registration and guest tracking across platforms, including online registration and seating plans.
• Performs data entry and maintains event data in donor management systems.
• Drafts event communications and creates event materials.
• Coordinates volunteers and supports on-site event execution and follow-up actions.
• Maintains event files and responds to inquiries; coordinates mailings and website updates.
