Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking a Development Engineer to drive process development and qualification in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will contribute to tool design, production planning, and process validation, working with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver reliable manufacturing solutions.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering with 6–10 years in manufacturing process development, strong GD&T and SPC skills, and Lean Six Sigma credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field; Mechanical or Materials preferred.
• 6–10 years in developing and validating manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and SPC analysis methods.
• Lean Practitioner Level II and Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Proficient PC software skills, esp. MS Office.
• Experience with 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Enable global introductions and transfers into production environment.
• Rapidly deploy new products and processes per The Right FITT.
• Lead manufacturing/process development activities from tool design to production planning.
• Develop and execute manufacturing qualification plans for process validation.
• Participate in cross-functional teams as Development Engineering expert.
• Assist in coaching and training team members.
