Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking a Manufacturing Support Technician to operate production and development equipment, run experiments, and collect data for engineers. The role includes process transfer to production, inspections, and general assembly support in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (associates preferred), 0–5 years in manufacturing, basic lab skills, and proficiency with MS Office; SAP experience is a plus. Must comply with safety and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates degree in engineering technology and/or technician certificate desired.
• 0–5 years of technical experience in manufacturing and/or related product development.
• Experience with basic lab equipment and analytical measuring instruments (calipers, scales, etc.).
• Ability to follow multi-step procedures and observe/record testing results in electronic systems.
• Working knowledge of product line equipment and processes; basic testing equipment familiarity.
• Strong mathematical background; able to solve simple algebraic equations for sample prep.
• Experience safely handling chemicals with PPE.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience with SAP preferred; familiarity with GD&T is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates production and/or development equipment in sample preparation.
• Carries out experiments, captures data, and communicates findings to development engineers.
• Assists with process recipe development, prototype manufacturing, and transfer to production.
• Performs visual and dimensional inspections and interprets inspection reports.
• Provides general support including packaging, rework, assembly and hardware install.
• Assists troubleshooting by investigating defects and implementing process improvements.
• Supports design-for-manufacturing, planning, time/cost estimates, material handling and test rigs.
