Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Partnering with HR, Working Groups, and the wider Business, as a subject matter expert, to provide expertise and direction for solutions on HR Tools and systems.

Providing governance direction for solutions, ensuring the solution design aligns with prevailing Technology strategy and relevant technology & corporate policies (such as security, data management, retention, and GDPR).

Identifying key technologies, components, and practices that will deliver value to Sky and meet Business requirements.

Managing, performing, and communicating the execution of system changes & enhancements (projects, updates, releases, integrations, new configurations).

Participating in configuration design and development: Data Structure, Security, Business Process, and Role design.

Supporting the analysis, design, and delivery of HR Systems solutions, including creating test scenarios, performing functional tests, supporting users during testing, and resolving defects.

Producing and maintaining relevant documentation for each Business requirement in an agreed format & location.

Maintaining personal skills and knowledge in HR Systems and Solutions Design, and mentoring/knowledge sharing with team members.

Employees at all levels are expected to:

• Have a minimum of 5 years experience in Workday Configuration, preferably in an SME role.
• Demonstrate experience with Workday Talent & Performance configuration.
• Use EIBs across multiple template types.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Be willing to collaborate, learn, share knowledge, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Have experience with Test Management / Change Control Tools like Jira, ServiceNow.
• Be familiar with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Partner with the Business from initial request to production.
• Perform analysis to validate business assumptions and requirements.
• Handle non-routine queries and resolve issues based on previous experience.
