Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County is seeking a Development Assistant to support the Development and Communications Department in Oakland. You will manage donor records, process gifts, and help coordinate campaigns and digital communications.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and proactive engagement with donors, while supporting the Wix website and email marketing efforts. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule and occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with donor databases and CRM preferred.
• Ability to process gifts and issue donor receipts promptly.
• Familiarity with Wix or similar website platforms and email marketing tools.
• Strong data entry and reporting skills for fundraising activity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM and fundraising database.
• Process and document donations; prepare deposits and receipts.
• Coordinate fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
• Assist with updating Wix website content and donation links.
• Prepare donor lists and reports for monthly fundraising summaries.
