Job summary

The University of Hawai‘i Foundation seeks a Development Coordinator to provide administrative and project support for the Shidler College of Business at UH Mānoa. Reports to the Director of Development, UH Mānoa, and collaborates with UH Foundation and university partners to advance fundraising initiatives.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, maintaining donor portfolios, data entry, travel arrangements, materials for presentations, and event support.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Experience in donor relations and stewardship strategy development is preferred.
• Minimum two years in nonprofit/alumni or development settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize meetings, coordinate dates, venues, agendas and follow-up actions.
• Assist with prospective donor portfolios and enter data into the fundraising system.
• Coordinate travel for UH Foundation staff and prepare travel briefings.
• Prepare materials for presentations to top prospects and donors.
• Assist with opening accounts, processing paperwork and reports.
• Develop written communications and correspondence as needed.
• Support internal processes and inter-department relationships.
• Provide back-up admin support and cover for UH Foundation offices.
• Supervise Shidler Student Assistant(s) and assist with fundraising events.
