People Over Monopolies is seeking a Development Manager to expand the fundraising program with donor prospecting, outreach, and events. As the first in-house fundraising hire, you will demonstrate initiative, align with our mission, and collaborate in a small, nimble team.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will work with Compliance and Communications to plan campaigns, build donor pipelines, and steward relationships while navigating federal fundraising rules in a fast-paced political

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of political fundraising experience on a campaign, PAC, or nonprofit
• Experience producing fundraising or organizing events such as house parties, panels, and summits
• Strong writing skills and ability to produce polished donor materials quickly

Responsabilités

• Execute the PAC's annual finance plan and track progress against quarterly fundraising goals
• Research and build prospect lists identifying new individual donors with capacity and alignment to give
• Arrange call time for the Executive Director and board members, prepare call sheets and CRM follow-up
• Plan and execute fundraising events from house parties to receptions with logistics and post-event stewardship
• Draft donor-facing materials including one-pagers, memos, pitch decks, and solicitation emails
• Steward existing donors through regular updates and engagement opportunities
• Coordinate with compliance vendor on contribution vetting and reporting requirements
