Job summary

Greystar seeks a Director of Real Estate Operations to lead a defined portfolio, driving operational excellence and financial performance. You will supervise Regional Property Managers, align asset strategies, and ensure adherence to Greystar standards while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience at regional level or above in property operations or asset management.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to present budgets and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills across client and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio operations ensuring adherence to Greystar standards and financial targets.
• Mentor RPMs and regional leaders to drive asset performance and on-site team leadership.
• Coach teams on budgeting, reporting, and client communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Strengthen client relationships through proactive, clear updates and value-driven insights.
• Identify and mitigate operational and safety risks through inspections and reviews.
• Support underwriting and due diligence for transitions, dispositions, and acquisitions.
