Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Director of Real Estate Operations to lead performance across a defined portfolio within a region. You will translate strategy into results, oversee Regional Property Managers, and ensure asset performance, client alignment, and resident experience.

Reporting to a senior operations leader, you will drive disciplined execution, financial stewardship, and talent development, while upholding Greystar's standards and values across teams.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of increasing responsibility and complexity in property operations or real estate management at the regional level or above
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in property operations or real estate management at the regional level or above
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational execution and performance of the portfolio with strong team alignment to property-level strategies
• Hold RPMs accountable for site visits, inspections, and timely communication
• Review and manage key performance indicators and financial performance with accountability and transparency
• Lead initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and program implementation
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards across the portfolio
• Develop and retain top-performing regional leaders and nurture talent across regions
