AIHEC is seeking a Director of Development to lead organization-wide fundraising, build a diversified funding portfolio, and expand philanthropic revenue in alignment with our 2025-2030 strategic plan. You will work closely with the President/CEO, CFO, and senior leadership to position AIHEC for sustained philanthropic growth and lasting impact.

• Eight or more years in nonprofit development, advancement, philanthropy, or related field.
• Proven success in fundraising strategies and campaigns with measurable revenue.
• Experience cultivating senior funders and writing compelling proposals.

• Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with AIHEC’s plan and goals.
• Establish fundraising goals, strategy, and performance measures.
• Partner with CFO and leadership on annual budget and philanthropic projections.
• Cultivate a portfolio of foundations, major donors, corporations, and funders.
• Lead development of proposals, letters of inquiry, and donor materials.
• Establish internal processes for proposal development and grants management.
• Coordinate with leadership to identify and advance federal funding opportunities.
