Job summary

The Director of Development at the Alzheimer’s Association will drive revenue growth through strategic leadership of Walk to End Alzheimer’s and related campaigns across Ohio. You will coach a team, cultivate corporate and community partnerships, and oversee volunteer engagement to achieve ambitious fundraising targets.

You will lead planning and execution of peer-to-peer events, ensuring compliance, budget discipline, and data-driven decision making to maximize impact and participant engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in sales/business or related field.
• 5–7 years recruiting volunteers and leaders or leading a team to meet sales targets.
• Experience with mass market events like Walk is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a development team to meet revenue goals through Walk to End Alzheimer’s and related events.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with corporate partners and community leaders.
• Oversee volunteer recruitment, development, and engagement initiatives across multiple events.
• Manage event budgets and timelines, using data to drive fundraising performance.
