Job summary
University of Colorado Anschutz seeks a Director of Development to lead fundraising efforts for the College of Nursing. The role drives major and principal gifts, cultivates donor relationships, and partners with faculty and leadership to translate institutional priorities into fundraising opportunities.
Responsibilities include crafting strategic fundraising plans, developing event concepts, and analyzing campaign performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional fundraising experience or related fields.
- Combination of education and related experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Develop philanthropic strategy in partnership with leadership and engage stakeholders.
- Lead major and principal gifts with organizational leadership for donor engagement.
- Direct event concepts, messaging, and marketing to maximize attendance.
- Engage high-profile individuals to serve as hosts, chairs, and ambassadors.
- Analyze outcomes to inform future fundraising strategies.
- Coordinate with ColoradoSPH administrators and faculty to align outreach with college priorities.
