Job summary

The American Heart Association, Inc. is seeking a Development Director to drive revenue for their Heart Walk fundraising campaigns on the Alabama Gulf Coast. This role requires strong community presence and involves generating income through corporate sponsorships and individual donations.

The position offers a competitive base salary plus incentives, and the Association promotes work-life harmonization with significant PTO and professional development resources.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or related fields.
• Ability to conduct daily local travel up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to lift and/or move large objects.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by securing local corporate sponsorship and individual donations.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective corporate sponsors and donors.
• Recruit and manage executive volunteer leadership and committees.
