Job summary

Dress for Success Palm Beaches is seeking a Development Director and Grant Writer to secure funding through donor promotion, grant writing, and fundraising campaigns. This full-time, on-site role at the Greenacres location involves building donor relationships, identifying new opportunities, and coordinating with the CEO and Board to meet revenue goals.

The candidate will plan events, support communications, craft impact stories, and write grant proposals while aligning programs with outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years nonprofit fundraising experience with major gifts and foundations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; donor communications and marketing.
• Fluency with social media platforms and outreach.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning/fundraising events, programs, and community initiatives.
• Support marketing/communications, including donor materials and newsletters.
• Develop impact stories and donor-focused content for communications.
• Collaborate with leadership to set fundraising goals and strategies.
• Write and submit grant proposals ensuring grantor compliance.
• Evenings/weekends as needed for events.
