Job summary

Sisu is seeking a Development Director to lead the Development Team in Oklahoma and oversee fundraising efforts that fuel our mission to support unhoused youth. The role emphasizes donor relations, grant-seeking, and capital campaign leadership, with collaboration across the board and external partners.

The successful candidate will manage staff, engage with the board, and work in a remote/hybrid environment, balancing in-person and virtual engagement to maximize impact and resource development.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and steward individual donors, granting organizations, program officers, and corporate sponsors.
• Set a grant-seeking agenda and manage the grant writing consultant team.
• Co-lead the drafting, editing, and review of government grant applications, outside contracted grant-writing team.
• Serve as the lead for Sisu's capital campaign.
• Supervise two development program staff.
• Represent Sisu across the philanthropic community and maintain an active, visible presence in the sector.
