Job summary

Alliance for Children’s Rights seeks a Development Coordinator to advance fundraising through donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. You will track progress toward revenue goals, support donor communications, and manage a donor portfolio with an emphasis on accuracy and collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in nonprofit development, a relevant degree, and experience with donor databases (Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce).

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of related nonprofit development experience.
• Proficiency with donor management software (Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Donor Engagement & Events.
• Partner with the Chief Development Officer to implement donor strategies and evaluate progress toward fundraising goals.
• Manage a portfolio of individual and corporate donors (up to $5,000) and build strong relationships.
• Execute campaigns and development strategies to grow monthly giving, planned giving, and other fundraising initiatives.
• Support the Annual Champions for Children fundraiser by coordinating Board and Committee meetings, preparing materials, and stewarding sponsors.
• Provide key support for the Chief Development Officer, CEO, and relationship management of major donors and the Board of Directors.
