• Manage municipal permitting, site plan reviews, entitlements, plan revisions, and related approvals.
• Coordinate utility approvals, service capacity, easements, and site connections to support timelines.
• Assist with contractor and vendor bidding processes, review proposals, and support value engineering initiatives.
• Support property onboarding, vendor compliance, and service contract setup as projects transition toward operations.
• Coordinate construction closeout documentation, including warranties and manuals.
• Maintain organized digital project records for smooth transitions into operations and asset management.
• Communicate with municipalities, consultants, utilities, contractors, and vendors to keep projects progressing.

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Development Coordinator to support the execution of commercial real estate development projects from pre-development through project closeout. This role will work closely with development leadership, consultants, municipalities, contractors, and vendors to keep projects moving forward and ensure critical development milestones are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate architects, civil engineers, surveyors, traffic consultants, and other design professionals throughout the development process.
• Manage and track municipal permitting, site plan reviews, entitlements, plan revisions, and related approvals.
• Coordinate utility approvals, service capacity, easements, and site connections to support project timelines.
• Manage contractor and vendor bidding processes, review proposals, and assist with value engineering initiatives.
• Support property onboarding, vendor compliance, utility transfers, and service contract setup as projects transition toward operations.
• Coordinate construction closeout documentation, including warranties, operating manuals, as-built drawings, and other project deliverables.
• Maintain organized and accurate digital project records to support seamless transitions into property operations and asset management.
• Communicate regularly with municipalities, consultants, utilities, contractors, and vendors to follow up on outstanding items and keep projects progressing.
