Job summary

Green Mills Group is seeking a Development Coordinator to streamline operations and support real estate development efforts. This role involves managing logistics, office duties, and marketing outreach to ensure the success of diverse housing projects across Florida. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional organizational skills and a strong teamwork spirit. Prior experience in real estate development as well as proficiency in design and office software are advantageous.

Green Mills Group: Development Coordinator (Part-Time/Full-Time)

As anDevelopment Coordinator, you will support Green Mills’ mission to create beautiful, best-in-class, affordable and mixed-income housing communities throughout Florida. Your overarching goal will be to streamline office operations, assist principals/development staff, and manage logistics.

You’ll be exposed to various aspects of our corporate and real estate operations – from office management to social media and outreach to development logistics and event planning.

Among other qualifications, the position requires good judgment, eagerness to learn, resourcefulness, excellent writing skills, and a mission-driven and entrepreneurial spirit for success.

The position will be based in Fort Lauderdale. A desire and ability to work as part of a larger team is critical. Some travel (with advanced notice/planning) may be required; you are expected to attend certain industry events, etc., periodically.

Roles and Responsibilities

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

· Assist the development team with development-related clerical tasks and research-based analyses.

· Edit, print, and manage corporate marketing material (website, brochures, etc.);

· Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries; prepare outgoing mail;

· Marketing assistance, to include planning, organizing, and drafting social media posts;

· Manage team travel and meeting coordination;

· Plan, organize, and execute regular team building and social events;

· Plan, organize, and execute community groundbreaking and grand opening ceremonies; and

· General office organization; including light cleaning duties

Qualifications

· Familiarity with workflow processes;

· Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills;

· Experience working as part of a team whose members have diverse roles;

· Experience with real estate development is a plus.

· Experience creating thoughtful, concise posts on essential social media platforms (LinkedIn, etc.);

· Proficiency with Canva, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Compensation and Benefits

· Depending on experience and qualifications, a hourly rate of $20 to $30 or salary equivalent;

· Bonus potential of up to 5% of salary, half of which will be discretionary with the other half based on performance;

· $40 monthly cell phone stipend will be added to your base pay;

· Green Mills will make available $500 per year (prorated in first year) for charitable donations of your choosing (with principals’ approval), to be made on behalf of you and the company;

Requirements

· Must be available to workin person, at a minimum, Monday through Thursday, from10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, open to full-time availability.

· Must beauthorized to work in the United States

· Must havereliable transportationto and from the office

· Must be able to perform light physical tasks (e.g., light cleaning, organizing supplies)

· Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
