The Development Coordinator at Tennyson Center for Children will play a critical role in supporting all aspects of Tennyson’s development and marketing efforts. The position will coordinate Tennyson’s donor gift entry and acknowledgements, solicit and recognize in-kind donations, as well as support various fundraising and marketing campaigns. This position reports directly to the Data Analyst and Sustainable Gifts Specialist and works closely with other coordinators and the entire development and marketing team.
Essential Job Functions
Physical Requirements
·Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
·Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time during special events.
·Required to move and inventory a large amount of In-Kind donations.
Working Conditions
·Team atmosphere
·80-100% on-site work is required.
·Able to work some evening/weekend events as needed (donor dinners, donor appreciation events, fundraising events, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in a related field
·2 years of relevant experience preferred.
·Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and preferred experience with CRM programs.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills that allow successful interaction with all areas of the organization and with external clients.
·Have a record of accomplishment of attentiveness to detail, deadlines, documentation, and timeliness.
·Valid driver licensure
·All positions require criminal CBI background check, FBI fingerprint check, State of CO child abuse check, DMV driving record check, pre-employment drug test, pre-employment physical, academic credential verification, and reference check.
