Qualifications

• Seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in hospitality, business, event planning.
• Demonstrated excellence in written communications skills.
• Ability to interact professionally in a corporate, non-profit environment and guide communications and projects from inception through completion.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Canva and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Minimum availability 20hrs/wk, M-F; nights & weekends as needed for signature events.
• Reliable Wi-Fi and transportation required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Event Logistics – support Tampa Bay’s Signature events and related tasks.
• Volunteer Management – manage a volunteer database and respond to inquiries.
• Marketing and Collateral – design or edit slide decks and event materials; assist with external communications.
• Participate in weekly logistics meetings and vendor selection/contracting process.
