Job summary

Asian Community Development Corporation (ACDC) is seeking a Director of Development & Communications to build out a major donor program and the development infrastructure for the organization’s 5-Year Strategic Plan. The role leads fundraising and storytelling, overseeing multiple revenue streams and supporting growth.

The ideal candidate will drive donor engagement, campaigns, and stewardship while collaborating with the Executive Director and board to ensure systems, metrics, and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years fundraising experience with major gifts and campaigns.
• 5+ years managing staff or leading teams.
• Strong strategic planning, organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage donors and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual and long-term fundraising strategies aligned with goals and budgets.
• Oversee identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors.
• Manage a portfolio of key donors and prospects (50+).
• Lead donor engagement strategies including visits, virtual meetings, and calls.
• Oversee campaigns, grants, and events to fund organizational growth.
• Supervise development staff and partners; ensure CRM usage and metrics.
