We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Development Associate to support our fundraising operations, donor engagement efforts, and campaign execution. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of fundraising operations, CRM databases, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams. This person also loves systems, staying organized, and getting things over the finish line. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and are energized by the behind-the-scenes work that makes fundraising successful.
The Development Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our fundraising and development operations. This position provides cross-cutting support across CRM and data management, donor engagement, campaign coordination, and grant management. Working collaboratively with the development team, the Development Associate will maintain accurate donor and grant records, support the execution of fundraising campaigns and events, and help ensure timely, personalized, and strategic donor engagement. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and comfort working with data and project management tools.

The person holding this position may also work part-time for a coordinated project, The Just Trust for Action, a 501(c)(4) organization, under a resource-sharing agreement between The Just Trust for Education and The Just Trust for Action. The responsibilities under that position will be overseen by The Just Trust’s CEO.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience.
