Job summary

ECU Health in Greenville, NC is seeking a Talent Development Assistant to provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director of Health Care Philanthropy and the development team. The role is onsite, full-time, with responsibilities across calendar management, meeting coordination, donor engagement, and financial tasks.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of executive-level administrative experience, excellent grammar, and strong communication skills, with proficiency in fundraising

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedules and correspondence for Executive Director and health care development team.
  • Coordinate meetings with materials, logistics and minutes.
  • Back-up for main phone line and greet visitors with other staff.
  • Support donor stewardship and engagement activities; assist with event setup and catering.
  • Prepare routine memos, letters, reports and materials.

Talent Development Assistant

Greenville, NC, USA

USD 21.1-30.76 / hour

Position Summary

This role focuses provides direct administrative support for the Executive Director of Health Care Philanthropy as well as the health care development team.

Administrative Operations
  • Manage calendars, schedules and correspondence for Executive Director of Health Care Philanthropy and other members of the health care development team as appropriate.
  • Coordinates meetings, including preparation of materials, logistics and recording of minutes.
  • Serve as back-up for answering ECU Heath Foundation main phone line as well as greet visitors to the building in conjunction with other administrative support staff.
  • Work with development team to support donor recognition and gift processing workflows as needed.
  • Prepares routine correspondence memos, letters, reports and other materials.
  • Support donor stewardship and engagement activities to include but not limited to: event set-up, management, catering, etc.
  • Performs secretarial and clerical duties as assigned.
Financial Management
  • Process travel arrangements for health care development team.
  • Process invoices and track expenses for health care development team.
  • Assist in budget development as needed.
Data And Systems Management
  • Assist with updating foundation database as directed by development team to include but not limited to: updating address, phone numbers, email addresses, etc.
  • Other Duties may be assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum qualifications include a high school graduate with additional two years of education in secretarial science, business administration, or related education/training required.
Education And/or Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience of executive level administrative support is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high volume of diverse assignments while effectively handling competing priorities and maintaining accuracy is required. Ability to learn organization's database, content management system and other software is required.
  • Meticulous grammar, editing, writing skills are required. Must have excellent organizational skills and be guided by a compelling client/customer orientation.
  • Persuasive oral and written communication skills are required.

Job Knowledge & Skills
  • Works well with donors, volunteers, executive leadership, physician leadership and other administration.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and solid knowledge of fundraising.
  • Computer skills are essential and include word processing, spreadsheet creation/management, database management, fundraising software, planned giving software and other relevant software packages.
Pay Range

$21.10 - $30.76/hr
