CMHA is looking to hire a full-time, Development and Fundraising Manager for our Community Relations Team. This position will be located at 233 Main Street New Britain, CT 06051. Monday-Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position starts at $74,000.

Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience, education, and skills, but also by maintaining internal pay equity. CMHA also takes into consideration our benefits and paid time-off package to provide a well-rounded and competitive approach to the applicant’s overall compensation.

Summary

The Development and Fundraising Manager will drive CMHAs revenue growth by designing and executing strategies to secure funds from individuals, foundations, and corporations. Key responsibilities include donor cultivation, assistance with grant writing, event planning, and CRM management to meet annual fundraising goals. Research and write private grant applications in collaboration with the Grants Manager. Prepare grant reports for funders. Provides accurate, timely, high quality internal and external communications (print and digital) to support agency strategic direction and development. Assists with planning and implementation of CMHA’s fundraising and external events. Helps develop donor communications; tracks donations and runs reports from donor database to manage donor information and solicitation. Proven experience with private foundation, state and federal grants and excellent writing skills with attention to detail is a must.
