• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills (written, oral, and electronic).
• Administrative and fundraising experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Foundation fundraising: research grant prospects and write briefings.
• Assist with major donor fundraising: donor research including church contacts.
• Calling donors to say thank you, or encourage continued church support.
• Doing data cleanup in the database.
• Keeping staff up to date on Bread updates for donor stewardship.
• Assist membership fundraising: filing and administrative support.
• Improving donor experience through customer service.
• Work on additional projects as requested.

SCHEDULE: Part-Time: 22.5 hours per week

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Development needs an engaged individual who is interested in learning about various aspects of development through hands‑on experience. We will need support during a critical time of year in preparation for end of year fundraising. Interns will learn about many aspects of the fundraising process in a nonprofit organization.
