About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Development Analyst to support all aspects of real estate development projects.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Modeling
   • Produce sophisticated financial models for large development projects.
   • Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling. Calculate key investment metrics (IRR, equity multiple, etc.).
   • Provide timely explanations of variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets.
2. Project Management
   • Assist in the development process, including coordination of consultants, entitlements, and zoning.
   • Maintain project schedules up to date.
   • Prepare weekly project checklists and monthly project performance presentations.
3. Budget Management
   • Oversight of project budgets (approved changes, forecasted changes, variance reports).
   • Reviewing and approving all invoices for projects.
   • Prepare capital call requirements.
4. Market Research & Revenue Assumptions
   • Collaborate with third-party consultants to get periodic reliable market data.
   • Conduct detailed market analysis of comps and market conditions (Supply/demand, absorption rates, etc.).

Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Actuarial, Economics, or a related field (required).
• 4+ years of experience in real estate development.
• Experience with ground-up development is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, cash flow projections, IRR, NPV).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• A collaborative team player with a results-driven mindset.
