Job summary

Rockefeller Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to support development activities with financial oversight and reporting. You will prepare monthly journal entries in Yardi, assist in compiling statements, and distribute reports to internal teams and external partners.

This role emphasizes accuracy, budgeting support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 0-2 years experience in the accounting field; public accounting preferred.
• Familiar with US GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and inputs monthly journal entries into Yardi general ledger system.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Assists with the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports for development companies and external partners.
• Performs cost tracking, budgeting and reconciliation tasks.
• Assists with audits and transactions, including supporting schedules.
