Job summary

ECS is seeking a versatile Power BI Developer and Technical Requirements Analyst to balance data visualization work with business analysis across the organization.

The role splits 50/50 between building interactive dashboards, data models, and governance, and eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements with stakeholders, supporting testing and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing Power BI or other data analytic solutions and dashboards.
• 3+ years of technical requirements analysis experience.
• Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create data models and optimize performance for enterprise-level reporting solutions.
• Build and maintain data transformation processes using Power Query.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective visualizations.
• Implement and maintain data governance and security protocols within Power BI.
• Document technical specifications and development processes.
• Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools and reports.
• Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Create detailed functional and technical specifications documents.
