Job summary

ECS is seeking a versatile Power BI Developer and Technical Requirements Analyst to balance development work with analytical responsibilities across the organization. This dual role focuses on data visualization initiatives and business analysis needs.

You will design, develop, and maintain dashboards, data models, and data transformations while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective visuals and formal specs. A DoD environment is preferred and U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to pass a Public Trust investigation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of Power BI and dashboards development.
• 3+ years of technical requirements analysis experience.
• Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

ECS is seeking a versatile professional to fill a dual-role position as a Power BI Developer and Technical Requirements Analyst. This position requires the ability to balance technical development work with analytical responsibilities, supporting data visualization initiatives and business analysis needs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Developer (50%)

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Create data models and optimize performance for enterprise-level reporting solutions
• Build and maintain data transformation processes using Power Query
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective visualizations
• Implement and maintain data governance and security protocols within Power BI
• Document technical specifications and development processes
• Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools and reports

Technical Requirements Analyst (50%)

• Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements from stakeholders
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to meet organizational needs
• Create detailed functional and technical specifications documents
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder meetings
• Validate requirements with technical teams and business users
• Support testing activities and ensure requirements are met in final deliverables
• Maintain requirements traceability matrices and documentation

Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000
