Job summary

Pivotal Partners in San Francisco is seeking a Developer Advocate to grow our developer community and showcase what our AI search technology can do for real-world applications.

You will build hands-on demos, publish resources on GitHub and blogs, and present at meetups and workshops, while collaborating with Engineering and Product to improve tools and documentation. On-site role requiring strong communication and hands-on coding with LLMs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering or developer advocacy.
• Experience building apps with LLMs, AI agents, and retrieval.
• Public portfolio of technical work (GitHub projects, talks, demos).
• Excellent ability to present complex topics in workshops and talks.

Responsibilities

• Develop hands-on demos and practical examples that highlight what developers can build using our search technology.
• Publish technical resources across GitHub, blogs, social platforms, and video channels.
• Represent our technology through developer meetups, technical talks, workshops, and live coding sessions.
• Experiment with LLMs, AI agents, and retrieval to explore new use cases and demonstrate best practices.
• Support the developer community by answering technical questions, resolving issues, and acting on feedback.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to strengthen our developer tools, documentation, and overall adoption.
