Job summary

Asana, Inc. seeks an experienced Developer Advocate for our San Francisco office to represent developers, build trust, and drive adoption of the platform’s APIs and SDKs. You’ll be the external voice in the developer and AI community, translating feedback into roadmap influence.

You’ll engage with the community across social channels, conferences, forums, and content creation, mentor junior advocates, and collaborate with product teams to surface developer needs and accelerate platform growth.

Qualifications

• Proven Developer Advocate experience with community programs.
• Hands-on building and consuming RESTful APIs and SDKs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Empathetic approach to developer experience and needs.
• Experience defining success metrics from API usage data.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute developer engagement strategies to drive adoption of Asana's APIs and SDKs.
• Author high-quality technical content including tutorials, samples, and docs.
• Engage with developer communities across forums, events, and social channels.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to feed actionable developer feedback.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Solutions teams to support integrations and growth.
• Mentor junior advocates and promote advocacy best practices.
