Job description

Overview

Interface directly with the Rail business, understand Rail terms and requirements, and communicate effectively with the offshore technical team. Perform technical code reviews and hands-on coding across various technologies. Collaborate with shared service teams to execute technical tasks supporting business needs. Coordinate with the offshore team and change management group to prepare and execute SIT, UAT, and Production code elevations. Work with the Network team on micro segmentation and load balancing configurations. Troubleshoot application and server issues with Midtier. Collaborate with the information security team to perform Veracode application scans to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, plus six (6) years of experience as a Technical Lead, Software Engineer, or related role.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting code that integrates with internal applications.
• Knowledge of enterprise core applications: Infolease, Peoplesoft, SFDC, Biztalk, AdobeLive Cycle.
• Understanding of Rail industry interface offerings: Railinc UMLER, CLM, CLU; Class One RRs Freight EDI; Byte 500 BRC data exchange.
• Experience with technologies: Winforms, .NetMVC, C#.Net, Knockout JS, Jquery, WCF services, Web API, IIS, Entity Framework, bootstrap, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, ControlM, NHibernate.
• Ability to create low-level designs including data models and relationships.
