Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer (TSE) to join our team remotely in the Mountain or Pacific time zones. You will help developers integrate with Stripe, explain technical concepts, and create useful guides and samples.

You’ll collaborate across teams to reduce integration friction and improve Stripe’s developer experience. You should have 4+ years of full-stack development experience, be adept at explaining complex concepts, and write clean, multi-language code.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of full-stack software development experience.
• Ability to explain Stripe’s concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to write clean, well-structured code in multiple languages.
• Willingness to provide occasional weekend coverage for critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Explain technical concepts about Stripe’s products to developers.
• Build and debug integrations with developers and provide guidance via guides and examples.
• Produce and improve documentation, demos, and code samples.
• Unblock external developers through various support channels (email, tickets, StackOverflow, Slack/Discord).
• Develop and maintain internal tools to support TSE and Stripe Support.
